The 1974-76 San Antonio Spurs were probably pro basketball's All-Time Big (and Long) Hair Team.

Mike Gale and Larry Kenon (#12 and # 35, top left) had some truly big hair.

But Rich Jones (bottom center) and James Silas (bottom right) added even bigger hair AND full facial beards to top all other Spurs in the hair category.

On this team, those that couldn't grow a 'fro tended to avoid cutting their hair at all -- see George Karl (upper right) and Billy "the Whopper" Paulz (lower left) showing off their own wild hair.
