1974 Kentucky Colonels Prototype Uniform

From 1970 through 1974, the Colonels' uniforms were blue and white, in the style pictured below:

In 1974, the Colonels decided to change their uniform design and colors. The uniform style eventually chosen was the one pictured below. The Colonels wore this style during their 1974-75 Championship Year:

An alternate uniform style was strongly considered and then rejected by the team. The original artists' rendition of this alternate style appears below (courtesy of Eric D'Adamo):
