Six-year ABA veteran with the Denver Rockets and Nuggets. Denver's all-time ABA scoring leader with 9,953 points. Also Denver's ABA career leader in field goals made and attempted, free throws made and attempted, assists, errors and steals. Named to First Team ABA All-Pro team in 1975-76. Twice named to Second Team ABA All-Pro team. Performed in five straight ABA All-Star Games (1972-1976) with an 11.0 average per game.

Averaged 29 points per game as a sophomore at Michigan State, but signed pro contract to help out at home where there were six children besides himself . . .
