This is the page where you'll be able to relive some of the best ABA playoff matchups that nobody remembers. If you don't remember any of these matchups, you're not alone. They weren't shown on national television. They received very little television and newspaper coverage outside of the ABA cities that were involved. To see the old ABA at its wild, crazy and unpredictable best, you just had to be there.
Fortunately, Al Hoffman has a lot of patience with newspaper clipping and microfilm. He's compiled some interesting game summaries and descriptions for each series. We are lucky enough to know a few photographers who were on the sidelines, like Ernie Leyba, John Chapman, George Gojkovich, John Oznick, David Gonyea and others. Finally, for some playoff games we have radio clips courtesy of Al Albert, Terry Stembridge, Dick Palmer and Van Vance. Thanks to all of these individuals for allowing us to go back in time to some years where the ABA title was truly "up for grabs."
If you want a particular ABA playoff series to be profiled next, or you just want to share some ABA playoff memories, just
